The Mechanical Mind Finds Joy in the Present with “Love is Right Here”

ORLANDO, Fla., October 27, 2026 -

The Mechanical Mind releases Love is Right Here on November 6, 2026, through independent label Studio Black Hole. The five-track collection centers on an exuberant pop anthem with a simple message: love isn’t something we always need to search for. Sometimes, it’s already right in front of us.

Opening with a playful, rhythmic piano melody, the song unfolds into a richly layered arrangement of driving drums, expressive lead vocals, and soaring harmonies. Its infectious chorus delivers an unmistakable sense of joy, while quieter passages reveal the tenderness beneath the celebration. The contrast gives the recording both its energy and emotional depth.

“Love is right here, love is right here and now / Love has bound us to each other /
It doesn’t matter how.”

The lyrics explore love without conditions or expectations, embracing the connection between two people regardless of circumstance. Rather than dwelling on the obstacles relationships may face, the song celebrates belonging, acceptance, and the freedom to love. Its recurring declaration, “We belong, we belong,” becomes an affirmation of something both deeply personal and universally understood.

That message carries particular significance during an exceptionally vulnerable period in the artist’s life. With his husband recovering from leukemia, the song’s reflection on time and togetherness has taken on a profound personal meaning.

“Time, have you got a little more? / We’ve got so much left to give.”

“Cancer has taken us through some very dark nights, but through it all, our bond has grown stronger. When the future feels uncertain, you begin to appreciate things differently. You realize how precious the ordinary moments are, and how much it means to have someone beside you. That’s what this song is about. The love we already have, right here and now,” says Jacobsohn.

Despite the difficult circumstances surrounding this chapter of his life, the song is deliberately joyful. Its warmth and optimism reflect a determination to celebrate love rather than allow uncertainty to overshadow it. The emotional weight of the lyrics provides a meaningful counterpoint to the recording’s spirited musical character.

The single also represents another stylistic departure for The Mechanical Mind. While previous releases have explored industrial rock, alternative electronic music, ambient compositions, and experimental production, Love is Right Here embraces an accessible, melodic pop sound without sacrificing the project’s distinctive creative approach.

Four additional interpretations expand the release beyond the original recording, reimagining the composition through contrasting arrangements and production styles. The collection demonstrates The Mechanical Mind’s commitment to experimentation and the belief that a song’s musical possibilities need not end with its first interpretation.

At its heart, Love Is Right Here celebrates the present, finding room for gratitude, hope, and the extraordinary comfort of loving and being loved, even during life’s most uncertain moments.
